Vietnam: 20 Years of Partnership with the Health Care Sector
14.12.2015 — The Vietnamese Dussmann subsidiary celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand gala. 80 clients and 40 longstanding members of staff celebrated with managing director Doan Quoc
Khanh in the city hall in Ho-Chi-Minh City.
CEO Dirk Brouwers and board member Pietro Auletta were also there (photo). When Dussmann Service Vietnam was founded in 1995, the socialist market economy, Doi moi, was only a few years old. It opened the door to the Asian world for the Dussmann Group. Three years later, the most important hospital in the country, the Cho Ray Hospital, opened the first production kitchen in Ho-Chi- Minh City. The Cho Ray is still a client today. During the anniversary year, a new production kitchen, certified in accordance with HACCP, was opened. Dussmann Service Vietnam has grown substantially in the health care sector during 2015. For example, further locations of the Hoan My hospital group were added to the cleaning services contract. Read more about this fascinating country in our next issue.
